Writing

Daniel's technical writing career started in 2006 with an online article published by Helium. Soon after he was published in Crossroads Magazine, the student journal by the ACM. In Summer 2006 he undertook an Internship at the Knowledge Media Institute (part of The Open University), where he had a chance to practice his report writing skills. From 2006 until 2007 he scribed his double-A grade BSc(Hons) dissertation titled "Adding Semantics to Social Web Tagging Systems". He then also went full throtle with developing his blog "Daniel's Blog", which in Summer 2008 was nominated as and close runner up of the Technical Blog of the Year by ComputerWeekley.com. Between December 2007 and Winter 2008 he worked full time as a Technology Evangelist, further developing his writing and presenting skills.

Since Winter 2008 he has taken on postgraduate education at the University of Bristol, and Vanir Systems work is scheduled in also. Included in this Vanir Systems work is Writing. So far he has written:
