# Done: Baptised and Confirmed
Yesterday I got baptised and confirmed into the Church Of England at St Giles Church, Oxford (UK) by Bishop John Pritchard. It was a wonderful service, full of peace… which I will take back to St Margarets Church and every other church that I visit.
So yep, I am now an accepted Christian and in the Anglican Communion… my views are reasonably high and liberal, with a mystic edge (as you know from previous posts), but that does not mean that I don’t get along well with the low and conservative. I feel that high, low, broad/inclusive, liberal, conservative, mystic, charasmatic, whatever thought/denomination/religion… just get along (remember to share the most important things: forgiveness, peace and love)
That will do for now, except for a thank you to all those who came to the service on Sunday and those who have supported me on the journey (esp. Andrew Bunch, Georgie Simpson, Paula Clifford, Dorothy Merrifield, the other people in the confirmation classes (Alsion, Anna and Kathy) and finally my girlfriend - Beki Turp).
This is also a good time to mention one of Beki’s projects, which I will be helping out on from time to time. It is called intercessions.co.uk. Intercessions.co.uk is a web site to share your intercessions (an intercession is a type of prayer, for those who don’t know), you are free to send your intercessions to Beki - her email address is on the intercessions.co.uk front page, and she will put your prayer on the system (giving you credit under the creative commons as it is your creative property) for others to see and use in their prayers. It works the other way too, if you are stuck for prayers to say either by yourself or at Church, then you are more than welcome to use one of the prayers on intercessions.co.uk. intercessions.co.uk is entirely categorised too, so if you are looking for a specific topic, denomination or language then you can whittle down to a prayer which will be useful to you… or you may use the search facility provided.
